On Friday, November 17th we will offer six half-day workshops, and one day-long workshop followed in the evening by dinner and a social featuring a keynote address by Michael McGuffin, President of the American Herbal Products Association and welcoming comments from George Briggs, Chairman of the Board of NCNPA.

On Saturday, November 18th, we will offer five tracks, each consisting of four sessions. See below for a detailed schedule. Saturday morning will feature a continental breakfast followed by a report from the association. During lunch, we will hear a plenary address from Loren Israelson, Executive Director of the Utah Natural Products Alliance. After the sessions, there will be a late afternoon roundtable discussion lead by George Briggs and Greg Cumberford outlining the next steps needed to cultivate the wellness-driven economy in North Carolina.

- Keynote Speaker
- Michael McGuffin, President of the American Herbal Products Association serves as a voice for this industry. He has been active in the herbal industry since 1975, having owned both retail and manufacturing businesses. In 2004, Natural Foods Merchandiser called him a Supplement Visionary, one who has persevered to grow a healthy industry.
- Plenary Speaker
- Loren D. Israelson, Executive Director of the Utah Natural Products Alliance, has more than 20 years of experience in the supplement, phytomedicine, and functional food fields. His work with UNPA was instrumental in the introduction and passage of the Dietary Supplement Health And Education Act of 1994.
Exhibitor Booths: There are a limited number of exhibitor booths available at the Conference. Booth space is approximately 10 x 10 and the cost is $95, including set-up for both days. (Does not include conference registration, or any conference meals.) Please contact us for more information.
Choose & Cut Christmas Trees: To kick off the season, the RRR Tree Farm (rrrtreefarm.com) in Boone will be offering conference attendees the opportunity to hand select and cut a premium NC grown Fraser Fir from among 1,000's (before the general public arrives a week later) while on an old fashioned hay ride. Time: On your own, ongoing throughout Saturday and Sunday of the conference weekend.
Conference Meals: Your registration fee covers dinner Friday night, a continental breakfast Saturday morning, and Saturday lunch. Please indicate on your registration form if you would like a vegetarian meal.
